Camurlim (Bardez): The Comunidade of Camurlim has formally extended its support to the government’s bill seeking regularisation of houses constructed on comunidade land.
Comunidade members said the move would greatly benefit numerous families currently residing in such houses, while also helping resolve long-standing issues of land ownership and legality. They emphasized that regularisation would not only bring relief to residents but also pave the way for better planning and development in the village.
The decision adds to the growing support for the legislation across Bardez, where many families have faced uncertainty over their homes built on comunidade lands.
