Panaji, July 18:
Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant inaugurated the Goa Career Navigator 2025 at Kala Academy, Panaji, marking a significant step towards equipping Goan students with informed career choices and future-ready skills. The initiative, launched by GSCERT in collaboration with UNOCUE, is set to benefit over 18,000 students across all 12 talukas of Goa.
The first-of-its-kind programme in the country brings together AI-powered career guidance, psychometric assessments, and expert mentorship, aiming to create a career ecosystem that supports students from higher secondary schools in making confident and informed decisions about their future.
Speaking at the event, CM Sawant said, “This initiative reflects our vision of Skill India, Yuva Shakti, and a Viksit Goa 2037. We are committed to building an aspirational, skilled, and confident generation.”
The event also witnessed the launch of three key components:
Career UDAAN: A scalable career awareness drive targeted at HSSC students.
Career Compass Handbook: India’s first comprehensive career guide designed for students, teachers, and parents.
Career Ambassador Clubs: Student-led clubs that will promote peer mentorship and leadership in every higher secondary school in Goa.
The Goa Career Navigator 2025 is being hailed as a transformative step in educational reform, bridging the gap between aspirations and opportunities for Goan youth.
