Ponda: On the auspicious occasion of Shree Gurupournima, Goa’s Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant paid a solemn visit to Tapobhoomi Gurupeeth and sought the blessings of Adhyatma Shiromani Padma Shri Awardee Sadguru Brahmeshanand Acharya Swamiji.
The Chief Minister’s presence at the revered spiritual center reflected his deep reverence for the Guru tradition and his enduring commitment to Goa’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage.
Speaking during his visit, Dr. Sawant emphasized the importance of Guru Purnima as a day to honour spiritual masters who guide society on the path of dharma, discipline, and enlightenment. “The teachings of Gurus like Sadguru Brahmeshanand Acharya Swamiji serve as a beacon of light for society and inspire generations to live a life rooted in values and service,” he said.
Sadguru Brahmeshanand Acharya Swamiji, known globally for his contributions to peace, spirituality, and Vedic knowledge, blessed the Chief Minister and the devotees gathered on the occasion. The celebration at Tapobhoomi included Vedic rituals, discourses, and cultural offerings attended by followers from across Goa and beyond.
