Panaji: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has appealed to the public to take advantage of the government circular pertaining to the regularisation of old houses constructed before 1972 and marked on the survey plan.
Sawant said that forms for the process will be made available from September onwards, and urged residents to keep the necessary documents ready to regularize their homes. He further announced that the Regularisation of Unauthorized Construction Bill will also come into force shortly, paving the way for settlement of long-pending housing issues across the State.
The CM underlined that the initiative aims to provide relief to families living in such houses while also ensuring clarity in property ownership and proper planning for the future.
