MLA of Poriem Constituency, Dr. Deviya Rane, met Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant on Thursday to raise pressing concerns related to the Bhumika Temple, a revered place of worship for the local community.
Accompanied by a delegation of representatives, Dr. Rane submitted a formal memorandum to the Hon’ble Chief Minister, outlining the community’s apprehensions and requesting urgent intervention.
The Chief Minister has acknowledged the concerns and assured that the matter will be addressed promptly. He stated that necessary and appropriate steps will be initiated in the coming days to resolve the issue amicably and in the interest of preserving the cultural and religious heritage of the area.
Dr. Rane emphasized that the sentiments of the local people must be respected and protected, and expressed confidence in the government’s support.
