Quepem: Quepem MLA Altone D’Costa conducted an inspection of the sub health center at Cottambi, reaffirming his commitment to strengthening rural healthcare infrastructure in the constituency. He was accompanied by the sarpanch and panch members of Avedem panchayat, Quepem health officer, and officials from the Electricity and PWD (Public Works Department) building divisions.
During the site visit, MLA D’Costa reviewed the status of ongoing and pending works at the health center. He took note of the delays and directed concerned departments to accelerate the pace of work. “Healthcare facilities must be made fully functional at the earliest. I have instructed all officials to ensure timely completion of the pending work,” D’Costa stated.
The meeting focused on resolving infrastructure bottlenecks, ensuring coordination among departments, and restoring essential services needed to operationalize the sub health center for the benefit of local residents.
The inspection is part of the MLA’s broader efforts to improve basic amenities and government service delivery in the Quepem constituency.
