Margao: The Executive Committee of Ravindra Bhavan, Margao has issued a strong condemnation of the recent violent incident targeting Chairman Rajendra Talak, reportedly linked to ongoing discussions about the repair and renovation of the auditorium.
Addressing the issue, Rajendra Talak emphasized that Ravindra Bhavan has, over the past two years, served as a premier cultural venue, hosting numerous renowned national and international artists. He reiterated the institution’s commitment to the arts and stated that plans are in place for a comprehensive revamp of the auditorium to enhance facilities for performers and audiences alike.
The committee expressed full support for Talak and called for peaceful dialogue over differences, urging stakeholders to avoid aggression and prioritize the advancement of Goan culture.
