Panaji: The Directorate of Fisheries has announced the sale of White-Legged Shrimp on July 11, 2025, at its headquarters located on Dayanand Bandodkar Marg, Panaji. The sale will begin at 2:30 PM and will continue on a first-come, first-served basis until the day’s stock is exhausted.
The shrimps will be available to the public at a rate of ₹350 per kilogram.
Officials from the Directorate informed that the initiative is aimed at promoting locally farmed seafood and encouraging public access to quality aquaculture products at affordable prices.
Residents are advised to arrive early, as demand for the fresh shrimp is expected to be high and sales will be strictly limited to available stock for the day.
