Panaji: In preparation for the upcoming monsoon session of the Goa Legislative Assembly, Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant convened a meeting with members of the BJP legislative wing and alliance partners to discuss legislative priorities and session strategy.
Speaking to the media after the meeting, the Chief Minister said the discussions focused on several key aspects, including the proposed introduction of new Bills, the filing of Legislative Assembly Questions (LAQs), and other important issues expected to come up during the session.
“This meeting was aimed at ensuring effective coordination and a united approach during the Assembly session. All MLAs and alliance partners shared their inputs and concerns,” said Sawant.
The monsoon session is expected to witness deliberations on critical governance matters, financial planning, public welfare initiatives, and policy reforms. The Chief Minister emphasized the government’s readiness to engage in meaningful discussion on all issues raised by elected representatives.
With the session drawing close, such preparatory meetings are seen as crucial to shaping the legislative agenda and aligning the ruling coalition’s stance on various policy matters.
