Zuarinagar: In a disturbing incident, Verna Police have arrested one Parshuram Harijan from Zuarinagar for allegedly threatening a group of people with a sword during a heated family dispute.
The altercation, involving five individuals, took place near the Hanuman Temple in Zari, causing panic among local residents. According to police sources, the accused brandished a sword during the confrontation, escalating the situation into a public safety concern.
A case has been registered against the accused under relevant sections of the Arms Act, and he has been remanded to two days of police custody for further investigation.
Authorities are probing the exact cause of the dispute and whether others involved may also face legal action.
