Gimone: On the auspicious occasion of Guru Pournima, Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant paid a reverential visit to the sacred Shri Raghunath (Ramchandra) Devasthan in Gimone, where he sought the divine blessings of Param Pujya Shri Hariharanand Bharati Swami Ji and Shri Shivatmanand Swamiji.
Describing the visit as a spiritually enriching experience, the Chief Minister expressed deep gratitude for the opportunity to be in the presence of such revered saints. “Their timeless wisdom and unwavering dedication to dharma continue to guide countless devotees on the path of inner awakening,” Dr. Sawant said.
He also extended his heartfelt wishes for the successful observance of the Dwitiya Divya Chaturmas Swami Seva, currently underway at the Devasthan. The Chaturmas period, considered sacred in the Hindu tradition, is marked by special prayers, spiritual discourses, and devotional activities.
The Chief Minister’s presence at the Devasthan on Guru Pournima reaffirmed his deep respect for spiritual traditions and the pivotal role of saints and Gurus in shaping moral and cultural values in society.
