The much-awaited 14th edition of the Goa Marathi Film Festival is set to make a grand return on August 9–10, 2025, promising a vibrant celebration of regional cinema. The festival will be held at INOX and Maquinez Palace, two prominent cultural venues in the heart of Panaji.
Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant is scheduled to inaugurate the prestigious event, while Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is likely to attend as the chief guest, adding a dash of star power to the proceedings.
A major highlight of the festival will be the felicitation of veteran actor Dr. Mohan Agashe, who will be conferred with the Krutadnyata Puruskar in recognition of his outstanding contribution to Marathi and Indian cinema.
