Panaji: In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Goa government has announced key appointments across various departments, affecting several senior officers.
Madhu Narvekar has been appointed as the Chief Officer of Margao Municipal Council, while Agnelo Fernandes takes charge as Director (Administration), Department of Agriculture. Dr Ajay Gaude has been named the new Director of Sports and Youth Affairs.
In other postings, Dinesh Pawar has been designated as the CEO of Zilla Panchayat North, Vivek Naik will serve as the Director of Art and Culture, and Arvind Kutkar as the Director of Archives.
Shankar Gaonkar has been appointed as the Member Secretary of Kala Academy, Sagun Velip as Joint Secretary (Protocol), and Melvyn Vaz as the Secretary to the Lokayukta.
The reshuffle is expected to bring renewed administrative momentum across these departments.
