Sattari: Sabrin Shah has etched her name in history as the first woman from Sattari — and among the few from Goa — to complete a solo road bike journey to Ladakh, covering more than 3,000 km on her sports bike to reach Leh.
Her 21-day adventure, which began on July 30, took her through rugged terrains, high-altitude mountain passes, and challenging weather conditions. Speaking about her feat, the young rider said she undertook the trip to prove that “if you have the will, everything is possible,” expressing hope that her journey will inspire the next generation of riders, especially women.
Sabrin’s achievement is being celebrated as a milestone for women in motorsports and adventure travel in Goa.
